MINNEAPOLIS/STUTTGART (February 7, 2012) – A first oral hearing was held on February 7, 2012 in Stuttgart, Germany in Karcher’s lawsuit regarding Tennant’s advertisements of its patented ec-H2O™ technology.

At the hearing, the court took the view that, based on the scientific evidence submitted by Tennant, Karcher has the burden of proving their claims. The court also observed that it may seek an independent expert’s opinion on the cleaning efficacy of the technology and how professional buyers of the equipment understand the statements made by Tennant in its advertising materials.
