Closer cooperation for Piepenbrock and Tennant Germany

Kirchheim/Teck, August 2016 – Tennant Company (NYSE: TNC), a world leader in designing, manufacturing and marketing cleaning solutions that help create a cleaner, safer, healthier world today announced that Piepenbrock -- a privately-held building service contractor with 800 locations,70 branches and 27,000 employees -- will feature the new Tennant T300 Scrubber-Dryer in its fleet of cleaning equipment, The building services provider is one of Tennant’s first service providers across Europe to list the Walk-Behind T300 Scrubber-Dryer.

Tim Wilczek, Head of Procurement, Material Management and Vehicle Fleet at Piepenbrock commented, “Piepenbrock was particularly impressed by the wide variety of T300 models which can deliver solutions for almost every type of floor cleaning challenge.” With its five different head options, the machine is extremely versatile and supports the user with functions such as the ability to store the relevant machine setting for cleaning each type of floor. “In intensive tests, the T300 met the high expectations of Piepenbrock’s technical management and impressed them with its demonstrated cleaning performance,” Wilczek explained.

A Partnership-based Approach for Guaranteed Success

In the future, Piepenbrock and Tennant will work even more closely together, both nationally and internationally. “When cooperating with a product manufacturer like Tennant, it is very important to us to be able to develop a partnership,” explains Wilczek. “If we get involved early in the testing phase and can introduce our requirements and our observations into the process, it has a really positive effect on all the stakeholders – the manufacturer, us as the user, and our clients.”

“Tennant Company also benefits from involving future users in the product development at an early stage,” said Jens Menscher, Strategic Account Manager of Tennant in Germany. ”This allows us to reduce risks by developing what is required in practice. The fact that we are both serious about building sustainability into our processes, our services and our products is something we have in common,” Menschner continued, explaining the benefits of cooperation. Piepenbrock’s Wilczek said the company places great importance on ensuring that the machines it employs are equipped with environmentally-friendly technology, which significantly reduces the use of cleaning chemicals and water.

“Using the Tennant T300 doesn’t, for example, just contribute towards a better eco-balance, but also significantly increases efficiency due to its longer cleaning cycles,” adds Menschner.
