When Surgiclean needed a new walk behind floor scrubber, the company knew exactly who to call.Surgiclean is a commercial cleaning company that specialises in medical centres and child care centres, but has clients in other industries including car dealerships.

A new client meant the purchase of a new machine, as they are kept on the clients’ premises.

Surgiclean owner Paul Minifie said the company already used Tennant’s T2 Walk-Behind Scrubber, where it was particularly effective for cleaning the workshop floors in car dealerships.

“We required a new T2 Walk-Behind Scrubber,”Mr Minifie said "We already have one, so purchasing a new one from Tennant was the obvious choice.”

The T2 Walk-Behind Scrubber’s compact, easy-to-manoeuvre design makes it easy to clean small, congested areas in one pass and has a coverage rate of up to 1,900m2/hr

The quiet (68dBA) sound level makes it ideal for use anywhere at any time.

Its 430mm cleaning path with Pad Assist helps move the scrubber forward and can decrease operator fatigue.

The T2 Walk-Behind Scrubber delivers 23kg of down pressure and 23 rpm brush speed, delivered through a 750W brush motor for powerful cleaning, while the Hygienic recovery tank is easy to clean and can reduce scrubber tank mould, bacteria and odours.

“Kylie Mobsby (Strategic national Account Manager) from Tennant was exceptional and guided me 100 per cent on the purchasing and delivery of our new T2,” Mr Minifie said.

“We use the soft brush, which we purchased as a separate item from Tennant. One of the dealerships has a concrete floor and the other has a tiled floor.The floors in the dealerships tend to have oil, grease and dust that needs to be removed. The soft brush works very well on both.”
